Oaty Crumble Topping Jar

A jar of buttery-ready crumble topping so any tin of fruit becomes pudding. Rub in cold butter, scatter over fruit and bake.
Ingredients
- 200 gram plain flour
- 150 gram rolled oats
- 150 gram brown sugar
- 50 gram desiccated coconut
- 2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- 1Tip the plain flour, rolled oats and desiccated coconut into a large bowl.
- 2Break up any lumps in the brown sugar with your fingers, then add it to the bowl.
- 3Stir through the cinnamon until everything is evenly combined.
- 4Spoon into a 1 litre jar and label with the date.
- 5TO USE: rub 80 g cold cubed butter into 180 g of mix until crumbly. Scatter over 600 g stewed or tinned fruit in a baking dish and bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. Serves 4.
- 6Store in an airtight jar in a cool dark cupboard for up to 3 months.
