Spiced Chai Latte Powder Mix

A cosy jar of spiced tea powder that turns into a creamy chai latte with just hot water. Lovely to make ahead and even nicer to give away.
Ingredients
- 150 gram caster sugar
- 150 gram full cream milk powder
- 4 tablespoon black tea leaves
- 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- 1Blitz the black tea leaves in a spice grinder or small blender until they are a fine powder.
- 2Tip the tea powder into a bowl with the caster sugar and milk powder.
- 3Whisk in the cinnamon, ginger, cardamom and cloves until evenly coloured.
- 4Spoon into a 750 millilitre jar and label with the date.
- 5TO USE: whisk 2 heaped tablespoons of mix into 250 ml boiling water and let it sit for 1 minute before drinking. Makes 1 mug.
- 6Store in an airtight jar in a cool dark cupboard for up to 4 months.
