Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken And Corn Chowder

Tinned creamed corn, chicken and baby potatoes turn into a silky chowder while you get on with your day. A splash of cream at the end is the only extra move.
Ingredients
- 700 gram chicken thigh fillets
- 2 tin tinned creamed corn
- 1 cup frozen corn kernels
- 1 tin tinned baby potatoes
- 1 cup frozen diced onion
- 750 millilitre chicken stock
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 200 millilitre thickened cream
Instructions
- 1Tip the chicken, creamed corn, frozen corn, drained baby potatoes, frozen onion, stock and garlic powder into the slow cooker.
- 2Put the lid on and cook on low for 6 hours.
- 3Pull the chicken apart with two forks right in the pot, then pour in the cream.
- 4Put the lid back on and leave it on low for 10 more minutes.
- 5Keeps in the fridge for 3 days. Freeze in containers for up to 2 months and reheat gently in a saucepan over low heat, stirring often so the cream stays smooth.
