Ingredients
- 400 grams lamb chops
- 50 grams breadcrumbs
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- 2 cloves garlic
- 30 milliliters olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- 2In a food processor, combine breadcrumbs, rosemary, thyme, garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined to make the herb crust.
- 3Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
- 4Press the herb crust mixture onto both sides of each lamb chop.
- 5Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the lamb chops for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
- 6Transfer the lamb chops to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare or longer to desired doneness.
- 7Remove from the oven and let the lamb chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
