Herb-Crusted Lamb Chops

Tender and flavorful lamb chops with a crispy herb crust.

Ingredients

  • 400 grams lamb chops
  • 50 grams breadcrumbs
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 2 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 30 milliliters olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. 2In a food processor, combine breadcrumbs, rosemary, thyme, garlic, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until well combined to make the herb crust.
  3. 3Season the lamb chops with salt and pepper on both sides.
  4. 4Press the herb crust mixture onto both sides of each lamb chop.
  5. 5Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the lamb chops for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  6. 6Transfer the lamb chops to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes for medium-rare or longer to desired doneness.
  7. 7Remove from the oven and let the lamb chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
