Ham and Cheese Pinwheels

Flaky puff pastry spirals with ham, cheese and a whisper of tomato. A five-ingredient bake the kids will ask for on repeat.
Ingredients
- 2 piece frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 150 gram sliced ham, chopped
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
- 1 tablespoon milk, for brushing
Instructions
- 1Heat the oven to 200°C and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- 2Spread each pastry sheet with a thin layer of tomato paste.
- 3Scatter the ham and cheese evenly over both sheets.
- 4Roll each sheet up tightly into a log.
- 5Cut each log into 6 slices and lay them flat on the tray.
- 6Brush the tops with milk and bake for 18 minutes, until puffed and golden.
- 7Cool for 5 minutes before serving, or cool fully to pack for lunchboxes.
