Layers of pasta sheets, rich beef Bolognese sauce, creamy bechamel, and gooey cheese, baked to perfection.
Ingredients
- 250 grams lasagna sheets
- 400 grams minced beef
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cloves garlic cloves
- 400 grams canned tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 50 grams butter
- 50 grams all-purpose flour
- 500 milliliters milk
- 100 grams grated Parmesan cheese
- 200 grams mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- 2In a large skillet, sauté the minced beef, onion, and garlic until the beef is browned. Add canned tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- 3In a saucepan, melt butter, add flour, and cook for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Cook the bechamel sauce until thickened. Stir in half of the Parmesan cheese.
- 4In a baking dish, layer lasagna sheets, beef Bolognese sauce, bechamel sauce, and mozzarella. Repeat the layers, finishing with bechamel sauce and mozzarella on top.
- 5Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- 6Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
