Slow Cooker Napoli Meatball Dump Pot

A bag of frozen meatballs and a bottle of passata become a slow-simmered sauce with no stirring at all. Spoon it over pasta or into rolls.
Ingredients
- 1 kilogram frozen beef meatballs
- 700 millilitre tomato passata
- 1 tin tinned diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 2 teaspoon dried italian herbs
- 1 teaspoon raw sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- 1Tip the frozen meatballs into the slow cooker straight from the bag.
- 2Pour the passata, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, herbs, sugar and salt over the top.
- 3Put the lid on and cook on low for 5 hours, then stir once before serving.
- 4Keeps in the fridge for 3 days. Freeze in meal-sized containers for 3 months and reheat from frozen in the microwave for 5 minutes, stirring halfway.
