Garlic and Herb Flatbreads

Soft pan-cooked flatbreads made from a simple yoghurt dough, brushed with garlic herb butter. Wonderful with curries, dips or soup.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 50 gram butter
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoon parsley

Instructions

  1. 1Mix the flour, yoghurt and salt into a soft dough.
  2. 2Knead the dough on a floured bench for 2 minutes until smooth.
  3. 3Divide the dough into 6 balls and roll each into a thin round.
  4. 4Cook each flatbread in a hot dry frying pan for 2 minutes per side until puffed and spotted.
  5. 5Melt the butter with the crushed garlic and chopped parsley.
  6. 6Brush the warm flatbreads with garlic butter and serve.
